Mumbai, Nov 11 (NationPress) Actress Krystle D’Souza has shared insights into the growth of her character in ‘First Copy Season 2’.
In a candid interview with IANS, she discussed how her role has transformed this season, labeling it as a demanding yet fulfilling journey. She expressed that embodying her character has challenged her creatively and allowed her to delve into new emotional territories.
When inquired about the character developments this season and the associated personal or creative hurdles, Krystle noted that her character's journey has been both emotionally and creatively enriching. She mentioned, “In Season One, Mona was just being introduced. However, in Season Two, she has become much more complex. There’s a deeper emotional layer, and as an actor, there’s so much more for me to uncover.”
“For me, the main hurdle was to slow down. Thanks to Farhan Sir, who consistently advised me, “Whatever you express, convey it half as quickly.” This time, my character embodies calmness, composure, and strength. I’ve never portrayed someone like this before, and it has been an incredible learning opportunity.”
When asked about her connection with her character Mona, the star of ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ remarked, “I relate quite a bit. Being an actress in real life as well as on-screen aids this connection. Emotionally, Mona and I are alike — we both hold a profound belief in people and love. So indeed, I find many parallels with her.”
