Mumbai, March 2 (NationPress) Amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, Bollywood star Nargis Fakhri opened up about her struggles with anxiety and sleeplessness while in Dubai, expressing that the uncertainty surrounding the situation leaves her feeling anxious.

Nargis took to Instagram to share a photo from her hotel’s balcony, tagging the location as Downtown Dubai. In her post, she conveyed the persistent feeling of anxiety that often accompanies such uncertainty.

“Regardless of the circumstances, this feeling of anxiety and dread lingers because you just don't know what’s going to happen next,” she remarked.

Reflecting on her restless night, Nargis mentioned that her mind remained active despite the late hour.

“I can't even fall asleep; my brain is on high alert. It's so late, yet I’m wide awake,” she concluded.

Earlier that day, Israeli aircraft conducted extensive airstrikes in the southern suburbs of Beirut, following rocket fire from Lebanese territory towards Israel, as reported by local news channel al-Jadeed.

The Israeli military strikes targeted Dahieh, a stronghold of Hezbollah in southern Beirut, causing residents to evacuate their homes amid fears of further conflict escalation. Emergency services rushed to the areas affected to assist the casualties, although no official death toll was reported, according to Xinhua news agency.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for launching rockets and drones at Israel in retaliation for the recent killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in coordinated Israeli-US strikes on Iran.

On Sunday, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) urged Iran to “return to its senses” and engage with its neighboring countries with reason and responsibility, warning against further isolation and escalating tensions.

Anwar Gargash, a senior diplomatic advisor to UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stated that Iran's aggressive actions against Gulf nations have backfired and isolated Tehran at this critical moment.

In light of the ongoing tensions in West Asia, Abu Dhabi reported that its air defenses intercepted Iranian missiles and drones over UAE territory, with debris injuring two individuals in Dubai.

Nargis was last seen in Mastiii 4, directed by Milap Zaveri, which is the fourth film in the Masti series. The film features stars like Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani.

Nargis gained recognition in India with the 2011 romantic drama Rockstar. She also portrayed a war correspondent in the political thriller Madras Cafe and appeared in hit comedies like Main Tera Hero and Housefull 3. Additionally, she has starred in the Hollywood action-comedy Spy.
