Directed by Sejal Shah, "Costao" is an adrenaline-filled crime drama based on the true story of a daring customs officer who confronted Goa’s most notorious smuggler.
This presentation by Bhanushali Studios Limited in partnership with Bombay Fables Motion Pictures narrates a compelling tale of integrity, bravery, and personal sacrifice. The film draws inspiration from the life of Mr. Costao Fernandes, a dedicated customs officer from Goa, chronicling his audacious solo mission in the 1990s that thwarted the largest gold smuggling operation into India.
