Mumbai, Jan 22 (NationPress) One of the most cherished pairs from the 70s, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor united in marriage on 22nd January 1980. In a beautiful tribute to her late husband on their anniversary, Neetu Kapoor took to her Instagram stories to share a collection of nostalgic photographs featuring the couple.

Among the images shared by the iconic actress, one captures Rishi and Neetu joyfully dancing together, encapsulating their love.

She also shared a snap from their travels with the heartfelt caption, "Memories one carries on but never ever forgets !!"

Another treasured photo shows Rishi giving Neetu a sweet peck on the cheek. The last snapshot features the couple twinning in blue, relishing fresh coconut water.

In a previous revelation, Neetu disclosed that Rishi fainted after seeing the crowd at their wedding, prompting them to sip brandy during the ceremony. Despite struggling to stay conscious, they persevered through the pheras and were joyfully married.

Rishi Kapoor departed this life on 30th April 2020, following a two-year battle with leukemia, at the age of 76.

During their illustrious careers, Rishi and Neetu appeared together in numerous classic films throughout the 1970s, such as "Rafoo Chakkar", "Besharam", "Kabhi Kabhie", "Zinda Dil", "Amar Akbar Anthony", "Doosara Aadmi", "Anjane Mein", "Dhan Daulat", and "Khel Khel Mein".

For those unfamiliar, Rishi and Neetu first crossed paths in 1974 on the set of the film "Zehreela Insaan". What began as a professional relationship blossomed into love. After dating for a while, the couple finally tied the knot in 1980. They welcomed their daughter, Riddhima, in 1980, followed by their son, Ranbir, in 1982.
