Mumbai, March 15 (NationPress) On the occasion of her daughter-in-law's 32nd birthday on Saturday, renowned actress Neetu Kapoor shared the first “precious” photo of herself and Alia Bhatt, who she described as a “gorgeous friend.”
Neetu took to her Instagram stories to post the image. The snapshot showcased Neetu and Alia joyfully posing together.
“Happy birthday my gorgeous friend; this picture is precious as it’s our first. Wishing you happiness and blessings, love, love, and more love,” Neetu wrote in her post.
Alia tied the knot with Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor's son and Rishi Kapoor's heir, in April 2022 after a few years of dating. They welcomed their daughter, Raha, in November 2022.
The actress had initially departed for Holi and birthday festivities in Alibaug. However, she curtailed her trip upon learning about the passing of her friend Ayan Mukerji’s father, Deb Mukherji, on Friday.
Deb Mukherjee died at the age of 83. Alia, along with her sister Shaheen Bhatt, visited Ayan’s home to pay her respects to the late filmmaker. Ranbir accompanied her as well.
On March 12, Alia celebrated her birthday in the presence of the media, where she discussed her upcoming film “Love And War,” co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
Regarding the film, she informed the media that the trio is currently shooting at night to avoid distractions for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's direction.
She stated: “We shoot at night and are parents during the day. It’s a fascinating combination. The reason I mention this is that we filmed Gangubai Kathiawadi at night. It creates a world of its own.”
Alia added: “There’s no distraction, no noise, no sound. We sit and discuss the scenes. Being back on set with Sanjay sir, he makes you feel that when you arrive on set… that is just the beginning.”
