Mumbai Sep 24 (NationPress) Actor-producer Nikhil Dwivedi is known for his straightforwardness. In an open dialogue with IANS, he expressed his views on the demeanor of some emerging stars in the industry, emphasizing how unnecessary diva behavior appears trivial when the biggest legends of Bollywood maintain their humility.

“Observing many young talents, I think of icons like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Hrithik Roshan, who are refreshingly down-to-earth. There’s simply no justification for younger actors to be challenging on set when such colossal stars are not,” shared Nikhil.

Having produced Dabangg 3 featuring Salman Khan, Nikhil recounted a filming experience in Rajasthan. He stated, “Salman is incredibly easy-going; he’s fine with any vehicle provided to him, without any fuss about the model. There’s never been a hurdle with him.” Nikhil is also celebrating the success of his recent film, "Bandar", which debuted at the esteemed Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

The screening was met with resounding applause, leaving the entire team thrilled. “For me, as a producer, this was a first-time experience at such a prestigious venue. The enthusiastic response was astonishing. That deafening applause as the credits rolled—it’s moments like these that inspire you to create films,” Nikhil reminisced.

Directed by Anurag Kashyap and penned by Sudeep Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, "Bandar" features Bobby Deol in the leading role. While the film has been deemed controversial by some, Nikhil refuted the label, stating, “I don't perceive it as controversial. It challenges viewers, ignites thought, and fosters discussion, which is precisely the purpose of art and cinema.”

For Nikhil, the evolution of "Bandar" from its initial idea to its international acclaim marks both a professional achievement and a reaffirmation of his conviction that films should engage audiences as much as they entertain.
