Mumbai, July 6 (NationPress) - Professional poker player Nikita Luther has distinguished herself as one of the champions of the inaugural season of the reality series The Traitors.
In a candid conversation with IANS, Luther addressed whether she had manipulated innocents throughout her journey on The Traitors.
She explained, "The essence of the game was manipulation. Any manipulation I engaged in was executed positively. I projected an image of being harmless and oblivious, which became my survival tactic. I never engaged in conflict with anyone. My strategy involved manipulating others by portraying myself as innocent."
When questioned about forming any insincere friendships on the show, Luther responded, "I don’t believe I formed any fake friendships, as I invested considerable effort into building genuine connections at the outset. That remains one of my fondest memories."
She further mentioned that she does not envision a future for herself in reality television, as she feels it is not her true calling.
In related news, another champion of The Traitors, Uorfi Javed, described the show as more strategic than Bigg Boss. She shared with IANS, "I didn’t see myself fitting in Bigg Boss, as I left after just a week. The Traitors is entirely different. It's a game that requires mental agility."
Uorfi elaborated that her strategy on the show was to remain composed and calculated. "The objective is to win, not to engage in conflict. The Traitors embodies pure elegance on Prime," she concluded.
Luther and Uorfi secured the winners' title by outsmarting contestants Sudhanshu Pandey, along with traitors Harsh Gujral and Purav Jha.
