On the Anniversary of Priyanka and Nick, Daughter Malti Receives a Unique Surprise

Mumbai, Dec 3 (NationPress) On the occasion of Indian actress Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas celebrating their six years of marital happiness, their daughter Malti Marie received a “special treat”. Priyanka shared on Instagram that they enjoyed watching their daughter’s favorite movie, Moana 2, in New York City. Along with this announcement, she posted several vibrant pictures. One photo captured Priyanka taking a selfie in a bathroom, while another displayed a table brimming with chocolates next to a paper bag and a Moana poster.

Yet another image featured a stack of pizzas arranged on the table. Without revealing her daughter’s face, Priyanka shared a shot taken from behind during the movie screening.

In her caption, she expressed: “What a special treat on our anniversary. Malti’s favorite Moana with our friends and family. Moana 2 is so much fun!! Thank you @disney @disneyanimation for the amazing screening. All the kids had the best time. In theaters now @nickjonas.”

Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in December 2018, celebrating both Christian and Hindu ceremonies at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. In 2022, they announced the birth of their daughter, Malti Marie, through surrogacy.

Regarding the film, the original “Moana” was released in 2016. It is an American animated musical fantasy adventure produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Directed by John Musker and Ron Clements, the film is based on a story created by Clements, Musker, Williams, Hall, Pamela Ribon, and the writing duo of Aaron Kandell and Jordan Kandell.

The film features Auliʻi Cravalho in her debut role as the voice of Moana, along with an ensemble cast that includes Rachel House, Temuera Morrison, Jemaine Clement, Nicole Scherzinger, and Alan Tudyk.

Set in ancient Polynesia, the narrative follows Moana, a determined chief's daughter from a coastal village, who is chosen by the ocean to restore a mystical relic to the goddess Te Fiti. When her island suffers a blight, Moana embarks on a quest to find the legendary demigod Maui, hoping to save her people by returning the relic to Te Fiti.

While the storyline is original, it draws inspiration from Polynesian mythology. The sequel continues the story, with Moana returning from a three-day journey, only to stumble upon a mysterious object that reveals the key to an ancient island inhabited by “angry gods.”
