Mumbai, Dec 3 (NationPress) As Indian actress Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas commemorate six wonderful years of marriage, their daughter Malti Marie enjoyed a special surprise on this joyous occasion.
Priyanka shared on Instagram this Tuesday that they watched their daughter's favorite film, Moana 2, in New York. The actress also posted a series of pictures. One photo featured Priyanka taking a selfie in a bathroom, while another displayed a table filled with chocolates, a paper bag, and a Moana poster.
Another image showcased a pile of pizzas set on the table. Without revealing her daughter’s face, Priyanka captured a photo from behind during the movie screening.
In her caption, she expressed: “What a special treat on our anniversary. Malti's favorite Moana with our friends and family. Moana 2 is so much fun!! Thank you @disney @disneyanimation for the amazing screening. All the kids had the best time. In theaters now @nickjonas.”
Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in December 2018 during Christian and Hindu ceremonies at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. In 2022, they announced the arrival of their daughter Malti Marie through surrogacy.
Regarding the film, the first installment of “Moana” premiered in 2016, produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, and is a captivating animated musical adventure.
Directed by John Musker and Ron Clements, the story is inspired by contributions from Clements, Musker, Williams, Hall, Pamela Ribon, and the writing duo Aaron Kandell and Jordan Kandell.
The film features Auliʻi Cravalho in her debut as the voice of the title character and includes an ensemble cast with Rachel House, Temuera Morrison, Jemaine Clement, Nicole Scherzinger, and Alan Tudyk.
Set in ancient Polynesia, the narrative follows Moana, a determined chief's daughter, chosen by the ocean to restore a mystical relic to the goddess Te Fiti. When her island faces a blight, Moana embarks on a voyage to find Maui, a legendary demigod, aiming to return the relic to Te Fiti and save her people.
While the plot is original, it draws inspiration from Polynesian mythology.
The second installment resumes where the first left off, with Moana returning home from a three-day adventure, only to encounter a mysterious object that unlocks the secrets of an ancient island inhabited by angry gods.
