Pamela Anderson Shares Near-Death Experience Aboard a Plane Due to an Irate Passenger

Los Angeles, Jan 7 (NationPress) Hollywood actress Pamela Anderson revealed that she nearly faced death on a plane when an enraged passenger mistook her for someone else.
Anderson was confronted by a furious man during a flight who attempted to assault her, believing she was a member of the 1960s girl group The Dixie Chicks, according to reports from femalefirst.co.uk.
In a discussion on the 'Happy Sad Confused' podcast, the 57-year-old actress recounted, "This one time, I was on a flight and this guy approached me and said, ‘Do you know what this country's done for you?'
I was like, ‘Oh, my God. What have I done?' When I glanced back at him, he was growling at me.
She mentioned that the flight crew had to restrain the individual.
“The stewardess had to handcuff him to his seat because he was trying to harm me. Yes. In the end, he thought I was a Dixie Chick. Remember that whole Dixie Chick controversy? I almost got killed on a plane!”
The former 'Baywatch' star confessed that the ordeal left her somewhat anxious about flying afterwards.
She recalled turning around in her seat to notice a man who was glowering at her the entire time.
She added, "When you look back and he’s scowling at you, that was minor though! I was scared to fly after that!"
Anderson did not specify when this incident occurred, but it is worth noting that the group faced backlash when member Natalie Maines criticized then-President George W. Bush and the invasion of Iraq during a concert in London in 2003, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.
Three years after these remarks, the 'Goodbye Earle' singer stated that she “didn't feel that way anymore” but maintained that Bush was “not owed any respect” at all.
