In an exclusive statement to IANS, Singh remarked, “On my first day of shooting, the initial scene I filmed was with Kajol. My character in the series is a clever, alluring woman who enters the scene intending to take her boyfriend away. That was my debut scene featuring Kajol. When I stepped onto the set, I was in awe as Kajol walked past me, completely unaware of who I was. It was an emotional moment that made the character of Simran come alive for me, reminding me of my childhood crush on her as I grew up watching her films.”
