Pankaj Tripathi Thrilled to Partner with Nitin Gadkari and Big B for Road Safety Promotion

Mumbai, Jan 25 (NationPress) Renowned actor Pankaj Tripathi expressed his pride in reuniting with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India, for the third phase of the Sadak Suraksha Abhiyaan, a countrywide public service awareness campaign.

Pankaj conveyed his strong dedication to this cause, stating, "It is an honour to collaborate once again with Amitabh Bachchan and Nitin Gadkariji along with the entire team of Sadak Suraksha Abhiyaan."

He emphasized, "Road safety is an issue that affects all of us, and I take pride in being part of this initiative aimed at protecting the lives of many, especially our children."

The actor remarked, "Care leads to safety."

"We must not forget that care leads to safety, and our shared responsibility for the welfare of others, particularly on the roads, is a major step toward a safer, more empathetic society."

Pankaj mentioned that this year, the emphasis is on enlightening the younger generation regarding the significance of road safety.

"I encourage all citizens to adopt the necessary changes, as our nation’s future hinges upon the safety and welfare of our children. Initiatives like implementing safety measures in school zones, enforcing the Good Samaritan Law, and ensuring prompt emergency care are crucial steps we can take to diminish accidents and save lives."

The campaign, in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Road Safety and Highways, aims to lower road accidents and inspire citizens to practice safer behaviors on the roads.

Sadak Suraksha Abhiyaan has consistently led efforts to inform the public about traffic regulations, road safety practices, and the importance of adhering to safety protocols. Amitabh Bachchan, the face of the initiative, has spearheaded this campaign since its inception.

Over the past two years, numerous distinguished personalities, including Nitin Gadkari, Sadhguru, Prasoon Joshi, Shankar Mahadevan, Sudha Murthy, R. Madhavan, and many others have contributed their voices to the campaign.

This year marks Pankaj’s second consecutive participation, as he also supported the initiative in its previous season. The third season of the campaign introduces an expanded vision, focusing specifically on educating children about road safety, under the theme "Parvaah karenge, surakshit karenge" (Care Leads to Safety), as stated in a recent announcement.

Through this season, the initiative intends to broaden its outreach, particularly within schools and communities, making road safety education a pivotal aspect of national awareness.
