How Does Parineeti Chopra Stay Calm During Postpartum?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Jan 9 (NationPress) Bollywood star Parineeti Chopra, known for her recent role in ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, has opened up about her strategies for maintaining mental peace during the postpartum period.
The actress, now two months into her postpartum journey, shared a video on her YouTube channel where she highlighted the significance of mindfulness.
She emphasized, “If your mind is positive, your body follows suit. I notice that many individuals reach for their phones immediately upon waking. The worst practice is mindlessly scrolling through social media first thing in the morning, which can leave your mind feeling numb and disrupt the entire day. I’ve found that if you resist the urge to check your phone for an hour, embrace boredom, listen to music, immerse yourself in nature, and enjoy the sounds of birds, it greatly aids in maintaining calmness. I also chant mantras to set a positive tone for my day. I start with the Hanuman Chalisa or Namami Shamisham each morning. This routine allows me to face whatever challenges arise throughout the day with a clear mind. I envision stepping out of bed like a heroine in slow motion,” she shared.
“Life should embody this mindset. As I mature, I realize that my perspective and reactions are paramount. The essence lies in my health and fitness, especially my mental wellbeing. I’ve come to understand what I enjoy, how I want to nourish my body, and when I prefer to rest,” she added.
