Chennai, May 28 (NationPress) Renowned actor Nasser, who has a pivotal role in the upcoming period drama, ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’, featuring Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan, shared a noteworthy incident that highlights Kalyan's sense of social responsibility.
During the launch of the film's single ‘Taara Taara’, Nasser recounted, "As we were preparing to film a scene where my co-actors Sunil and I appeared to be drinking, Pawan Kalyan's entrance was pivotal. He was supposed to say, 'What are you drinking here? Come there, you will get good stuff!' before we followed him. However, we faced a delay due to a discussion between the director and Pawan Kalyan."
“Pawan Kalyan declined to deliver that specific line, stating that as a public figure and leader, it would imply he had consumed alcohol, potentially sending the wrong message. Thus, the dialogue was revised before we continued filming," Nasser explained.
Nasser also commended producer A M Rathnam for his steadfastness and dedication throughout the film's lengthy production. "It has been five years since we began this journey, and at times, I nearly forgot about the film. Yet, Rathnam remained patient, bringing us to this point," he noted.
Praising director Jothi Krisna, Nasser remarked, "Producer Rathnam mentioned that it was fate that brought Jothi Krisna to this project. In reality, it was Jothi's expertise that truly shaped the film. On the first day of shooting, the set appeared bare, but Jothi explained his vision with clarity. Despite initial concerns, the film blossomed during dubbing, showcasing horses, landscapes, and regions, all thanks to Jothi's skill."
