Los Angeles, Sep 4 (NationPress) “You” star Penn Badgley has joyfully revealed that he is now a father to identical twin boys.
Badgley, who is married to Domino Kirke, shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a video about an upcoming live event for his new book Crushmore. Co-authored with his Podcrushed co-hosts Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari, the book launch is generating buzz.
He captioned his video: "Interrupting twin paternity leave to announce a live event @podcrushed at @symphonyspace Oct 14 NYC supporting the release of our book CRUSHMORE. Truly proud of this one. Please check it out! @podcrushed for all info."
In the video, Badgley softly announces the live event, then pans the camera to reveal the tiny feet of one of his newborns, as reported by people.com.
He remarks: "There's tiny little baby feet right there. I don't want to wake them up."
Before the twins' arrival, Kirke, 41, shared a snapshot of her baby bump on Instagram Stories, adorned with a peace hand sign emoji.
The new twins will join the couple's 4-year-old son, alongside Kirke's son Cassius, 16, from a prior relationship.
During an interview with Access Hollywood at the premiere of the final season of Netflix's You, Badgley spoke about the responsibility of raising boys, expressing the “pressure” he and his wife feel to guide them in a positive direction.
“They’re identical boys, so now we have four boys,” he said.
“You know, I do mean this sincerely. It sounds a bit tacky, but the world needs more good men, so you know, pressure’s on us to raise them well.”
When asked about his father's superpower, the Easy A actor replied: “Well, it’s my patience until I’ve lost it, and then I’m just as bad as anybody else. But, I can be very patient.”
