'This is very different than Part of Me,' Perry told people.com, referencing her 2012 documentary. 'That was more of a documentary about my life, and this is really a concert experience at the highest level for the fans. I mean, I'm doing all of this for my fans because they are the ones that have helped me along for all these years, over 18 years, and it's just such a fun thing to encapsulate,' she added, describing the tour energy as 'incredible.'

In April, they attended the Beef Season 2 Montecito Tastemaker event, where they were photographed alongside Netflix chief Ted Sarandos and his wife Nicole Avant. Romance rumours between Perry and Trudeau first surfaced in July 2025, when the two were spotted walking a small dog together in a park in Montreal. They were later seen dining at neighbourhood restaurant Le Violon, where a restaurant representative said they 'seemed to have had a fantastic evening,' adding that the pair visited the kitchen after the meal to personally thank the staff. 'They were super kind and friendly to the staff, and it was an absolute pleasure to have them,' the representative said. Trudeau subsequently attended Perry's concert in Montreal on 30 July 2025. Their relationship emerged roughly one month after Perry and actor Orlando Bloom ended their engagement following nine years together.
