Did Prakash Raj Really Leave Prabhas's 'Spirit'? Actor Sets the Record Straight!
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Hyderabad, Feb 9 (NationPress) Addressing the misleading reports that suggested he had exited the Prabhas-led film 'Spirit' due to creative disagreements with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, renowned actor Prakash Raj has urged the creators of fake news to 'grow up and have a life'.
On Monday, Prakash Raj shared a message on his X account to clarify the situation. He stated, 'To all the toxic #Fakenews peddlers… Regarding #Spirit the movie. We have not even begun filming my scenes, yet you gossip factories are spinning tales. Grow up and have a life. #justasking'
His tweet followed media claims that he was no longer part of the Prabhas movie 'Spirit' due to conflicts on the film's set with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The claims suggested that the Spirit team was on the lookout for a replacement for @prakashraaj and that some of his scenes would need to be reshot.
It's worth noting that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's much-anticipated film 'Spirit', featuring Prabhas and Triptii Dimri in leading roles, commenced production in November of last year with an elaborate pooja ceremony.
Several stars were present at this launch, including Megastar Chiranjeevi, who was a special guest at the event.
The production company of director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Bhadrakali Pictures, announced the film's launch on their X account, stating, 'India’s biggest superstar #Prabhas’s 'SPIRIT' has been launched with Megastar @KChiruTweets garu as the special guest.'
Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga expressed his gratitude towards Chiranjeevi for attending the event in a thank-you note on X, saying, 'Heartfelt thank you to our MEGASTAR CHIRANJEEVI sir for blessing the event with his presence. Sir, your gesture is unforgettable — we all love you @KChiruTweets #SPIRIT MUHURTHAM'
He also shared photos from the event but was careful to avoid revealing Prabhas's appearance in the film.
On his Instagram, he showcased a picture of Prabhas' hands holding the film's clapboard, stating, 'Dear fans… I thought PRABHAS anna’s hands were enough to EXCITE YOU ALL... So, on this muhurath day, I’m posting this for you — with gratitude and love. SPIRIT.'
The film has already generated immense excitement among audiences. Besides Prabhas and Tripti Dimri, Prakash Raj and Vivek Oberoi will also play significant roles.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and Pranay Reddy Vanga, 'Spirit' will feature music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar. Stunt choreography will be handled by the acclaimed Supreme Sundar, while Suresh Selvarajan will oversee production design.
Initially, the makers had considered Deepika Padukone for the female lead role, but after disagreements regarding compensation and work hours, they opted for Triptii Dimri.
