Mumbai, July 11 (NationPress) Bollywood star Preity Zinta extended her heartfelt wishes on Guru Purnima while expressing appreciation for her guru mitr Acharya Ashok Diwedi, who has been instrumental in her spiritual journey.

Preity shared a lovely image on Instagram, showcasing herself alongside her guruji, with the location tagged as Varanasi.

In her heartfelt caption, she noted: “Wishing everyone a joyous Guru Purnima. This day honors one’s spiritual teacher, and I want to take this moment to recognize my Guru Mitr - Acharya Ashok Diwedi ji. His guidance has been vital in helping me navigate my spiritual path.”

She expressed her gratitude for his understanding and support.

“Thank you for being there for me, for embracing me, and for leading me to find answers to the questions I struggle to grasp. I am grateful for your generosity and humor, which have helped reveal parts of myself I never knew were there. Much love and respect,” she added.

Previously, on Father’s Day, Preity posted a picture of her husband Gene Goodenough strolling in the woods with their twins, Gia and Jai.

Preity and Gene tied the knot in February 2016 during a private ceremony in Los Angeles. They welcomed their twins, a boy named Jai and a girl named Gia, through surrogacy on November 11, 2021.

On the professional front, Preity is gearing up for her return to the Hindi film industry after a significant hiatus with the project 'Lahore 1947', directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.

This film was officially announced last October and has attracted attention due to its impressive cast and intriguing storyline.

She last appeared in the 2018 action-comedy film “Bhaiaji Superhit”, directed by Neerraj Pathak, which features a star-studded ensemble, including Sunny Deol, Arshad Warsi, Ameesha Patel, and Shreyas Talpade.
