Mumbai, April 18 (NationPress) Actress Preity Zinta, currently away from her residence due to the Indian Premier League (IPL), posted a heartwarming photo with her twins, Jai and Gia, expressing her feelings of missing home.
On Instagram, Preity is seen embracing her children, with both Gia and Jai planting kisses on her cheeks, their faces adorned with red heart emojis. The actress beams with a bright smile.
In her caption, she remarked, “Home is where the heart is, and right now, I’m truly missing home! Counting down the days until I can see them again.”
Preity tied the knot with Gene in 2016 and welcomed twins, a son named Jai and a daughter named Gia, through surrogacy in 2021.
On April 17, Preity fondly recalled her first meeting with Yuzvendra Chahal when he was just an up-and-coming U-19 cricketer. She offered a heartfelt message to spinner Chahal following his impressive performance in the IPL 2025 match against Kolkata Knight Riders in Mullanpur.
Sharing a collection of their photos on her Instagram account, Zinta wrote,
“How it started vs. how it’s going. I encountered Yuzi during the Kings Cup in 2009 in Chandigarh. I was new to cricket, and he was a budding under-19 cricketer.”
“Throughout the years, I witnessed him thrive and become a powerful presence in the cricket arena. I admired his competitive spirit and always wished for him to join our team, but fate had other plans… until now!”
She added that their “last match exemplified why I have been such an admirer of Yuzi over the years; when the going gets tough, the tough get going. I’m thrilled to finally have you back where you belong @yuzi_chahal23. Always want to see you smiling and shining, Ting.”
On the work front, Preity is set to make her Bollywood return with Rajkumar Santoshi's “Lahore 1947.” This upcoming period drama stars Sunny Deol as the lead.
