At 42, Priyanka, who won the Miss World 2000 title, is set to portray a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in the action drama “The Bluff”.
Her latest appearance was in “Heads Of State”, a film directed by Ilya Naishuller, featuring Idris Elba and John Cena as the UK Prime Minister and US President, respectively.
Recently, Priyanka’s husband Nick Jonas shared insights about their daughter Malti, who required resuscitation shortly after birth.
On the On Purpose podcast, he stated: "She arrived under intense circumstances. We were expecting her in April of that year, but received a call that it would be earlier than planned."
Nick recounted how their daughter appeared "purple" upon birth, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.
He elaborated: "We sprang into action and she was born via surrogate. Upon arrival at the hospital, she weighed just 1 pound, 11 ounces and was essentially purple."
Malti spent almost 100 days in a neonatal intensive care unit, a time Nick described as precarious.
He noted: "The angels in the NICU resuscitated her promptly and provided the necessary care. During COVID, my wife and I worked 12-hour shifts at the hospital for three and a half months, and I can still recall the scents."
