Priyanka Chopra Completes Filming for ‘Citadel 2’: Ready to Embrace the Holiday Season

Mumbai, Dec 4 (NationPress) Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas disclosed that she is a few days late in announcing that she has completed filming for Citadel 2 and is now ready to embrace the holiday season.
Priyanka took to Instagram to share a series of images and videos from the wrap-up celebration. In one of the videos, actor Stanley Tucci is captured preparing celebratory drinks for the lead cast.
In the clip, the actress, who will reprise her role as Nadia Sinh, can be heard saying: “The wonderful Stanley Tucci is making us wrap martinis.” The final image features Priyanka holding her daughter Malti Marie’s small hand.
In her caption, she mentioned: “A few days late but I’ve been on a roller coaster. We wrapped Citadel season 2!! This year has been a whirlwind for me, but being surrounded by so much love and support makes it all easier.”
“I’m incredibly thankful to the cast and crew and especially my team who have supported me. Now… I’m diving into the holiday season! Sound on.”
Citadel is an action-packed spy series created by Josh Appelbaum, Bryan Oh, and David Weil, with the Russo brothers serving as executive producers.
The show features Richard Madden and Priyanka as Citadel agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh. Kane uncovers a new organization, Manticore, led by Dahlia, played by Lesley Manville, which leads to a disastrous incident. Eight years later, he is living a quiet life as Kyle Conroy, with his memory erased, until an old colleague, Stanley Tucci, calls for his assistance.
The six-episode inaugural season stands among the most costly television series ever produced. It premiered on April 28, 2023. Several spin-off shows in non-English languages have been announced, set in locations including the Italian Alps, India, Spain, and Mexico.
The Indian version, Citadel: Honey Bunny, featuring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, premiered in November. It focuses on the narrative of Honey and Bunny, who are the parents of the character Nadia Sinh (played by Priyanka Chopra in the original series).
The series also includes Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Sikandar Kher, Saqib Saleem, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, and Thalaivaasal Vijay in supporting roles.
