Mumbai, Aug 30 (NationPress) The talented actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been giving fans a glimpse into her recent experiences. This past Saturday, the actress took to her Instagram account to post a series of photographs from her incredible getaway in Africa.
In these stunning images, she is seen savoring delicious cuisine, working out to stay fit, capturing the diverse wildlife through her camera, relaxing under the stars, and soaking in breathtaking landscapes.
In her caption, she simply stated, "Lately" and tagged her location as Africa. Among the photos was an aerial view of the iconic Nile River.
The Nile River, which flows through multiple countries in East and North Africa, is celebrated as the world's longest river, extending nearly 6,700 kilometers from its origin in Lake Victoria to its delta in the Mediterranean Sea.
Previously, she marked the 16th anniversary of her film ‘Kaminey’, reflecting on how this project significantly shaped her acting career after director Vishal Bhardwaj entrusted her with a pivotal role.
On Instagram, she shared several stills from the film, which features Shahid Kapoor in a dual role and is set against the backdrop of Mumbai's underbelly. She fondly remembered how she was offered the character of Sweety Bhope while filming ‘Dostana’ in Miami.
“Sweety Bhope. While filming Dostana in Miami, Florida with @tarun_mansukhani and co-stars @bachchan and @thejohnabraham, I received a call from Vishal Bhardwaj. I was shocked! I always dreamed of working with him and never thought he would consider me due to my ‘commercial’ image,” she recounted.
She continued, “He expressed his desire to meet me in Miami. I recall him narrating the story, and I remarked, ‘Well, she has about 8 scenes’. He reassured me, ‘With us collaborating, it will transform into something more. Trust me’. And I did trust him; he pledged to create something remarkable for me in gratitude for taking the role.”
The actress admitted that she was simply “eager to work with him.”
