R Madhavan Champions Juniorthon to Enhance Youth Sports Engagement

Mumbai, Dec 1 (NationPress) Renowned actor R Madhavan graced the Bawa Juhu Juniorthon 2024 on Sunday, an event aimed at enhancing physical fitness among the youth.

Addressing the excited audience, the actor conveyed his happiness to be part of the occasion, particularly since December is acknowledged as Children’s Month. The Bawa Juhu Juniorthon commenced on December 1st at the Gallant Sports Arena, JVPD, Juhu. Organized by the Bawa Group of Hotels, this exhilarating event catered to children under 15, combining fitness, enjoyment, and memorable experiences—an ideal chance for kids and families to honor an active lifestyle.

Regarding the event, R. Madhavan remarked to IANS, “I am extremely pleased to be here this Sunday morning. December is children’s month, and the Bawa team is doing an excellent job of encouraging children to leave their homes and actively engage in sports and athletics. Best of luck to today’s winners, and I urge everyone to participate in outdoor sports more.”

Commenting on the Juniorthon, the Bawa Group stated, “The Bawa Juhu Juniorthon 2024 is more than just a race—it’s a movement. The event attracted various Bollywood stars and community leaders who motivated and inspired the young participants. Notable guests included Shri Gurinder Singh Bawa, Chairman and Founder of Bawa Group of Companies, MLA Ameet Bhaskar Satam, a dedicated advocate for youth and fitness initiatives; Shri Ranganathan Madhavan, celebrated actor and President of FTII, Pune, Renu Hansraj, and many others.

This event was designed to encourage children to step away from their screens, embrace physical activity, and relish the excitement of running. Besides the races, families enjoyed a vibrant morning filled with thrilling activities and entertainment, creating a festive, carnival-like atmosphere.

In the meantime, Madhavan is set to appear in Karan Johar’s upcoming film Aap Jaisa Koi alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh. He is also gearing up to star in the forthcoming Tamil film Adhirshtasaali, directed by Mithran R Jawahar, with the makers recently revealing his fascinating dual roles.
