Mumbai, May 19 (NationPress) Actress Raashii Khanna shared insights about her authentic bond with Vaani Kapoor, mentioning that it was Vaani who motivated her to relocate to Mumbai to chase her acting dreams.
Raashii appeared on Farah Khan’s YouTube program, where she prepared a dish called “kale chane ka pulao”.
When Farah inquired, “You are not a Bombay girl,” Raashii responded that her roots are in Delhi.
Curious about how she got into South Indian films given her New Delhi background, Raashii remarked, “I believe films selected me.”
“I was an academic achiever in school, always seated in the front,” she added.
When asked if she participated in Miss India, Raashii clarified, “No, I began modeling during college as a hobby. After college, I moved to Bombay thanks to my friend, Vaani Kapoor, who aspired to become an actress.”
Farah chimed in, “I heard that Vaani and Raashii were roommates.”
