Mumbai, April 8 (NationPress) Actress Radhika Muthukumar is set to deliver a captivating and emotionally intense performance through the Kali Khappar dance in the forthcoming episode of “Main Dil Tum Dhadkan”.

Originating from Devi Aradhana, the Kali Khappar dance, also referred to as Koramba Kali or Kambala Natti, is a traditional agricultural dance celebrated by the Paniya and Adiya tribal communities in Kerala.

Radhika shared her excitement about this remarkable performance.

“I have a passion for dancing, and since I’m from South India, many presume I’ve trained in classical dance—but that’s not the case! I simply enjoy it,” she expressed.

“When I first learned about the Kali Khappar Dance, it was unfamiliar to me. I researched it online, watched various videos, and started rehearsing. It dawned on me how closely it resonates with Vrinda’s journey. This was more than mere choreography—it symbolized Vrinda's transformation, as she breaks her silence and asserts herself in a powerful manner,” the actress elaborated.

At this juncture in the storyline, Vrinda is making every effort to shield her family from Deepika’s deceitful tactics. Deepika, feigning blindness, continues to manipulate the situation, always staying ahead.

Vrinda’s cautions have been disregarded, but she has now resolved to speak up. Through this compelling dance, she unleashes her pain, fury, and resilience.

Radhika is widely recognized for her roles in Sasural Simar Ka 2, Do Chutki Sindoor, and Rangeela Raybaa.

Sasural Simar Ka 2 serves as a sequel to the 2011 television series Sasural Simar Ka. It features a talented cast, including Avinash Mukherjee, Tanya Sharma, Karan Sharma, and Jayati Bhatia. In Do Chutki Sindoor, Radhika starred alongside Shubham Dipta, focusing on the life of a young woman named Siddhi, who has a younger sister, Maya, with special needs.

“Main Dil Tum Dhadkan” is broadcast on Shemaroo Umang.
