Mumbai, Feb 27 (NationPress) Actor Raghav Juyal, recognized for his recent role in ‘Kill’, is marking Maha Shivratri with profound reverence as he visited the revered Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Trimbak, Maharashtra, to offer his prayers.
Sporting a humble kurta and pants, he fully embraced the spiritual vibe of the occasion, engaging in rituals with sincere respect.
Speaking about the festival’s importance, Raghav remarked, “In Uttarakhand, Maha Shivratri resembles Diwali, imbued with excitement and devotion all around.”
He added, “There is a temple named Gopeshwar where my family and I used to conduct special pujas each year. Unfortunately, due to work obligations, I couldn’t make it this time, so I opted to come here to seek Baba’s blessings.”
Raghav seamlessly mingled with fellow worshippers, absorbing the tranquil atmosphere of the temple. Onlookers appreciated his modesty and the profound respect he displayed for tradition.
In the previous year, Raghav, affectionately dubbed the ‘King of Slow Motion’ in dance, recounted an amusing incident when he was halted by the police.
He appeared on the comedy program ‘Aapka Apna Zakir’, sharing that he could never escape his persona as the slow-motion dancer.
He recounted, “This incident occurred quite some time ago, around the period when the dance show I participated in gained significant popularity. I was once stopped by cops at a traffic intersection.”
Raghav, known by his stage name ‘Crockroaxz’, continued, “They asked me, ‘Hey! Cockroach?’. They requested I exit my vehicle, and I assured them, ‘Sir, I have all the necessary documents, feel free to check’. However, all they wanted was to see me perform my slow-motion dance. It was a heavily barricaded area with vehicles lined up. In that moment, I danced as they wished.”
Raghav gained fame after competing in the dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance 3’. He was a finalist in season 3 and later led the team Raghav Ke Rockstars in ‘Dance India Dance Li'l Masters 2’ and ‘Dance Ke Superkids’, where his team emerged victorious under his leadership.
Subsequently, he ventured into films, debuting with ‘Sonali Cable’ in 2014. He has appeared in movies such as ‘ABCD 2’, ‘Street Dancer 3D’, and ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ last year.
