Mumbai, Jan 7 (NationPress) Entrepreneur Raj Kundra, who first appeared on screen in Undertrial (UT69), has allegedly finalized a deal for three films with DB Digitainment, where he will take the lead in Punjabi films.

He expressed his desire to create something genuinely entertaining for his Punjabi community.

The films, featuring Raj Kundra, will encompass family-oriented themes, including a mix of gripping drama, action, and light-hearted comedy.

When approached for details about the films, he stated: "Yes, something thrilling is in the works. I wanted to create something genuinely entertaining for my Punjabi community. I can’t disclose too much at this moment, but I assure it will be worth the anticipation."

The specifics regarding Raj Kundra’s films remain confidential. It is rumored that the first of the three projects will be revealed on the auspicious day of Lohri on January 13.

Last month, Raj and his actress spouse Shilpa Shetty embraced the Christmas festivities with a Punjabi flair.

He shared a lively moment of himself performing Bhangra in the brisk winter climate, reflecting his spirited nature and appreciation for tradition.

Raj took to his Instagram account to post a video featuring himself, his wife Shilpa, and their children. In the video, the family was seen relishing the Christmas festivities alongside Santa Claus.

In the caption accompanying the joyful video, the businessman wrote, "Born into a Punjabi family, Christmas has always been a lovely fusion of customs—laughter, love, and togetherness at its heart. Raj and Shilpa have been united in marriage since 2009. They welcomed their son Viaan in 2012, followed by a daughter named Samiksha through surrogacy in 2020.
