Mumbai, Dec 30 (NationPress) Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who was recently featured in ‘Indian Police Force’, is preparing to celebrate the New Year in the chilly ambiance of Finland.
On Monday, the actress took to her Instagram account to share a collection of pictures and videos showcasing her family reveling in the Finnish winter wonderland. The stunning visuals highlight the breathtaking scenery of this Nordic nation.
In her caption, she expressed, “Wondering & Wandering in Winter Wonderland.”
Previously, the actress and her husband, Raj Kundra, faced a raid conducted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Following this event, Raj publicly addressed the situation, asserting his complete cooperation with the authorities.
Raj shared a detailed message via his Instagram Stories, stating, “To whom it may concern, While the media seems to have a flair for drama, let's set the record straight: I'm fully complying with the ongoing investigation that has been unfolding for the last four years. Regarding the allegations of 'associates', 'pornography', and 'money laundering', it's evident that no level of sensationalism can obscure the truth; ultimately, justice will prevail.”
Additionally, he remarked, “A note to the media: It’s unacceptable to repeatedly drag my wife's name into unrelated matters. Please respect the boundaries. #ED.”
The recent ED operations were part of an ongoing probe into a suspected money laundering case.
On October 3, Kundra, who is under suspicion of money laundering via bitcoin transactions, received a notice from the Enforcement Directorate, mandating him to vacate his Juhu bungalow and Pune farmhouse. In response, he filed a petition with the Mumbai High Court contesting the notice.
The businessman was apprehended by the Mumbai Crime Branch in July 2021, facing multiple allegations under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Information Technology Act. He was subsequently granted bail by a city court.
