The 'Dharman' unit had commenced its third schedule on 16 September this year. Marimuthu had earlier posted a behind-the-scenes clip of Rajinikanth and actress Raashi Khanna on set, captioning it: 'Back with Thalaivar for Dharman 3rd schedule #superstar @RKFI.' The clip showed Rajinikanth — seated with his back to the camera — in conversation with Khanna, offering fans their first glimpse of the two leads sharing the frame.

The second schedule of the film, which had begun on 13 August, concluded on 4 September.
