Mumbai, Oct 23 (NationPress) Superstar Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela are excited to announce that they are expecting their second child.

Upasana shared a heartwarming video on Instagram, showcasing moments with Ram, Chiranjeevi, and other dear family and friends during their celebratory gathering. Guests were seen presenting gifts and offering their blessings to Upasana.

“This Diwali was a celebration filled with double the joy, double the affection, and double the blessings,” Upasana wrote, concluding the video with the phrase “New beginnings.”

Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni became engaged in December 2011 and tied the knot in 2012 in Hyderabad. Earlier this year, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Klin Kaara Konidela, a name reflecting the Lalitha Sahasranamam, a Hindu scripture symbolizing purifying energy and spiritual awakening.

On the work front, Ram Charan was recently featured in Game Changer, a Telugu political action drama directed by Shankar. The film showcases Ram in dual roles alongside Kiara Advani, Anjali, S. J. Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram, and Samuthirakani. It follows Ram Nandan, a government official on a mission to combat corrupt politicians and reform the electoral process.

Upcoming, he will appear in Peddi, a sports masala film directed by Buchi Babu Sana, featuring Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu.

On October 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Ram Charan for his efforts in promoting archery through the inaugural edition of the Archery Premier League (APL), the world’s first professional league in the sport, which aims to benefit countless young athletes.

“It was a pleasure meeting you, Upasana and Anil Kamineni. Your combined dedication to archery is commendable and will positively impact numerous youngsters,” PM Modi remarked on X.

Both Ram Charan and Anil Kamineni, who chairs the APL, have played significant roles in the successful launch of this tournament, held at the Yamuna Sports Complex in New Delhi.

Following his meeting with the PM, Ram Charan expressed his thoughts on social media, stating, “I am honored to have met Prime Minister Modi after the successful launch of the world’s first Archery Premier League, spearheaded by Anil Kamineni. This is our small step towards preserving the legacy of archery and promoting it globally. Congratulations to all athletes, and we hope many more join this incredible sport,” he shared in his post.
