Mumbai, June 22 (NationPress) Actor and host Rannvijay Singha unveiled his new show, ‘Gori Chale Gaon’, which represents more than just a project; it signifies a personal exploration of his roots. The show delves into life in Indian villages, evoking fond memories from his own childhood spent in rural areas. Rannvijay expressed how the filming experience rekindled his nostalgic feelings, allowing him to reconnect with his heritage emotionally. In an interview with IANS, he stated, “When I first heard about Goriya Chali Gaon, I was instantly captivated. They shared that the show had already garnered immense love in Marathi, and now they aimed to expand its reach across India. The premise is intriguing—twelve urban girls accustomed to luxurious lifestyles are thrust into a rural village setting. While village life may seem simple, it poses its own set of challenges.”

“I’m not implying that villagers struggle—it’s just their way of life. Everything requires effort; you must prepare your own tea and fetch your own water. Things don't happen at the snap of your fingers. In the village, meals are home-cooked, unlike the city where convenience reigns. However, rural life offers its perks—organic produce, fresh air, a healthier lifestyle, and most crucially, a strong sense of community. In villages, you’re never isolated; everyone shares in both celebrations and sorrows. That sense of togetherness is increasingly rare in urban environments.”

Reflecting on his childhood experiences, the ‘Roadies’ host recalled, “I remember visiting the village as a child, where I was told, ‘You’ll have fun, but you’ll also work.’ That mix of enjoyment and responsibility left a lasting impression. I believe the girls’ experiences on the show will allow me to revisit those experiences. I may also encounter new challenges that will foster my growth.”

When queried about the prospect of living in a village long-term, Rannvijay responded enthusiastically, “Absolutely! I would love to reside in a village. I’d engage in organic farming, construct a basketball court, and perhaps enjoy off-roading nearby. The surroundings are healthier, allowing children to grow up resilient—free from the pollution and screen addiction prevalent in cities. If my career permitted me to earn without the need to frequently return to urban life, I would eagerly embrace such a lifestyle. My children would receive a solid education grounded in strong values.
