Ranveer Singh Reflects on the Moment When His Aspirations Came to Life

Mumbai, Dec 11 (NationPress) As his debut film Band Baaja Baaraat celebrates 14 years since its launch, Bollywood sensation and new father Ranveer Singh fondly recalls the moment when his aspirations turned into reality.
Ranveer shared numerous memorable moments from the film on his Instagram stories, which premiered in 2010.
“14 years since Band Baaja Baaraat… When my aspirations turned into reality #blessings #gratitude,” he captioned his post featuring his co-star Anushka Sharma.
The romantic comedy, directed by Maneesh Sharma, showcases Anushka's character, Shruti Kakkar, and Ranveer's Bittoo Sharma as they join forces to establish a wedding planning enterprise. A Tamil remake, titled Aaha Kalyanam, featuring Nani and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles, was released in 2014.
As one of the highest-earning actors in India, after his debut, Ranveer appeared in Ladies Vs Ricky Behl and received acclaim for his portrayal of a sorrowful thief in the film Lootera.
However, it was in 2013 that he solidified his stardom through collaborations with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, starting with Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, followed by Bajirao I and Alauddin Khilji in Bhansali's period dramas Bajirao Mastani (2015) and Padmaavat (2018), respectively.
Subsequently, he featured in films such as Simmba, Gully Boy, 83, and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
Ranveer, who is wed to Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, is gearing up to appear in Aditya Dhar's espionage thriller. In this upcoming film, he is expected to portray an R&AW agent in the untitled project.
In July, the announcement was made, and Ranveer posted on Instagram, stating: “This one is for my fans, who have been so patient with me, and have been eager for a change like this. I love you all, and I assure you, this time, a cinematic experience like never before. With your blessings, we embark on this great, big motion picture adventure with spirited energy and pure intent. This time, it’s personal.”
The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande from Jio Studios, along with Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under their banner B62 Studios. This follows their recent successful collaboration on Article 370.
The movie boasts a stellar cast, including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal.
Ranveer’s latest release is Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, who portrayed a negative role in the blockbuster.
