Mumbai, June 29 (NationPress) Rashami Desai, a well-known television actress, has posed a significant question following the unexpected passing of her dear friend Shefali Jariwala.
In her Instagram stories, Rashami expressed her recent realization of being largely unaware about the lives of those she knows.
She shared a video stating, "Hey everyone, it's been quite unfortunate over the past week - I've been through a lot and feel compelled to share some thoughts. Everything is alright - there are health issues, but numerous tragedies are occurring. I find myself facing unwarranted judgments. I can't comprehend why people in my circle are going through so much without my knowledge."
She further inquired of her followers if they were experiencing similar feelings.
"Is this normal or a misguided perspective? I'm feeling a bit burdened," Rashami questioned in her post.
On Saturday, she criticized social media users for trolling Shefali's husband, Parag Tyagi, for walking his dog shortly after his wife's passing.
Responding to the trolls, Rashami advocated for kindness and empathy.
She wrote on her Instagram stories, "Aree bhaiya, let’s promote compassion and kindness rather than judgment! Simba was more than just a pet — he was Shefali’s cherished son. Her sudden departure has created a significant void, and I implore the media to respect the family's mourning and grant them privacy during this challenging period. Let’s embrace understanding and empathy, instead of sensationalism."
Rashami conveyed her sorrow over Shefali's loss on social media, stating, "I'm still coming to terms with the news; you were a remarkable individual, and I'm struggling to articulate... You will be profoundly missed, gone far too soon."
Shefali tragically passed away on the evening of June 27, reportedly due to a cardiac arrest.
Her final rites were conducted at Mumbai's Oshiwara Crematorium on Saturday.
