Mumbai, Oct 30 (NationPress) The talented actress and beloved National crush Rashmika Mandanna, who is enjoying the triumph of her latest film “Thamma”, shared her insights on delving into the intricate world and emotional depth of her character's journey.

Discussing the human connection in her character Tadaka's evolution, Rashmika revealed to IANS: “I’ve come to understand that Tadaka is essentially absorbing emotions throughout her long existence, especially since she has spent so much time in the forest. For her, humans are indeed a captivating species.”

“Every time they express sadness, she finds herself curious about their tears. When they laugh, she’s intrigued, thinking, ‘This is how you smile.’”

“She’s attempting to mimic these emotions, particularly from Alok, and it's these intricate nuances that I focused on because I approached it from the perspective of an animal.”

“If I transformed into a human, I imagined this would be my response. That’s how I interpreted my role. Therefore, she struggles with crying. Her only outlet is to scream, which becomes her superpower.”

“Thamma” features a star-studded cast including Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Ayushmann Khurrana and unfolds in a fictional universe. The film also connects with Varun Dhawan’s “Bhediya”. It forms part of the wider Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, tying in with the Stree films, Bhediya, and Munjya.

Focusing on vampires, “Thamma” tells the tale of a journalist portrayed by Ayushmann, who becomes embroiled in the power dynamics between the vampires played by Rashmika and Nawazuddin.

Looking ahead, Rashmika is eagerly anticipating the release of her upcoming film “The Girlfriend”. This Telugu romantic drama, featuring Dheekshith Shetty, is directed by Rahul Ravindran.

Set to be released on November 7, 2025, the film will be available in several languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. She will also appear in “Cocktail 2” and “Mysaa”.
