Chennai, Oct 4 (NationPress) The creators of director Rahul Ravindran's much-anticipated film, 'The Girlfriend', starring actress Rashmika Mandanna alongside actor Dheekshith Shetty, officially announced that the movie will be released in theaters on November 7 this year.

In a post on their X timeline, Geetha Arts, the production company behind the film, stated, "WHO IS YOUR TYPE? Let's spark this conversation with #TheGirlfriend in theaters from NOVEMBER 7th, 2025. Available in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam #TheGirlfriendOnNov7th. #WhoIsYourType."

The announcement was accompanied by a promotional video showcasing Rashmika engaged in a deep conversation with her boyfriend during dinner. After he orders food, she inquires, "Vikram, everyone has a type, right? Am I your type? How do two people know if they’re right for each other? When do they realize this?" Vikram questions her back, asking, "Are you pondering if I’m the one for you?" Rashmika responds, "I’m also contemplating if I’m the right fit for you. People enter relationships for various reasons, but how many possess this clarity?"

The announcement of the release date is sure to delight the fans of the actress, who have been eagerly anticipating the film's debut. Fans have previously taken to social media, making the hashtag #ReleaseTheGirlfriend trend as they sought updates on the film.
