Chennai, Aug 20 (NationPress) Music director Ravi Basrur, renowned for his compositions in the pan-Indian blockbuster 'KGF', is set to make his Tamil cinema debut as a music director for actor Arjun's forthcoming film, which commenced shooting with a traditional pooja here on Wednesday.
The film, produced by AGS Entertainment, currently riding high after the success of blockbusters like 'Love Today' and 'Dragon', will be helmed by first-time director Subhash K Raj.
This untitled film, tentatively referred to as AGS 28, will star two leading ladies -- actresses Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan.
Insiders reveal that this project is crafted as a wholesome family entertainer. Notably, director Subash K. Raj previously served as an assistant director to Pradeep Ranganathan, who significantly contributed to the successes of both 'Love Today' and 'Dragon'.
Archana Kalpathi will serve as the Creative Producer for this unnamed film, with her sister Aishwarya Kalpathi taking on the role of Associate Creative Producer. S.M. Venkat Manickam will oversee the executive production of this endeavor.
Sources indicate that alongside the lead actors, the cast will also include Vivek Prasanna, John Kokken, Arjun Chidambaram, Pawan, Dileepan, Vinod Sagar, and Bala Hasan R in key roles.
On the technical side, the film will feature music by Ravi Basrur and cinematography by Arun Radhakrishnan.
