Director Ravi Namburii has revealed that he was overcome with emotion when he called 'action' for the very last time on Kiran Abbavaram during the making of the upcoming Telugu romantic entertainer 'Chennai Love Story'. The candid admission came through an Instagram post shared by Namburii, in which he also unveiled a clip of Abbavaram delivering his final dialogue during dubbing.

In his Instagram post, Namburii wrote: 'Remember this dialogue and the gesture. I literally mean it. You cannot forget this character once the film releases. Felt so emotional when I realised this is going to be the last time I say action or take to him. @kiran_abbavaram ... this journey with you is so memorable anna. Love you forever.' The post offered fans a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into the bond that formed between director and lead actor over the course of the production.

The Lead Pair and Their Characters

Kiran Abbavaram plays a character named Steven Sankar in the film, while Sri Gouri Priya — who shot to national attention with her acclaimed performance in the Tamil romantic drama 'Lover' — plays the female lead, a character named Nivi. 'Lover' was praised by critics for its honest portrayal of toxic relationships and proved a significant commercial success. Sri Gouri Priya's casting opposite Abbavaram is expected to be one of the film's key draws.

A Glimpse of the Story

A teaser released earlier by the makers offers a window into the film's emotional core. In a beachside conversation, Nivi tells Steven Sankar that first love is the purest form of love — and that when it fails, life becomes difficult. Steven Sankar challenges this view with a striking counter-argument: he says that if first love is the only pure love, then every person's first love should logically be their mother. He goes on to note that many of history's most celebrated love stories were not the protagonists' first loves, arguing that when a first love ends, one's greatest love story is still ahead.
