Chennai, Dec 8 (NationPress) Kiran Abbavaram, the lead actor in director Ravi Namburii's much-anticipated Telugu romantic film 'Chennai Love Story', announced on Monday that the film's team has successfully completed a significant schedule.
The actor shared this exciting news on his X profile, stating, "Magic Happened. Major Schedule wrapped up :)" and included pictures of himself with the team taken on set.
The film stars Sri Gouri Priya, who gained recognition for her role in the Tamil romantic drama 'Lover', as the female lead.
Recently, the filmmakers released a poster celebrating Sri Gouri Priya's birthday, revealing the names of the characters portrayed by the lead actors. Kiran Abbavaram takes on the role of Steven Sankar, while Sri Gouri Priya plays Nivi.
An earlier teaser showcased a beach conversation between Steven Sankar and Nivi, where Nivi asks Steven if he has seen the film 'Baby' and commends it for its depiction of first love. She suggests that when first love fails, it can feel like life becomes unbearable, emphasizing the purity of first love compared to subsequent relationships.
Steven Sankar counters this belief, stating, "If first love is the only one that is pure and honest, shouldn’t all our love stories end with our mothers?" He highlights that many celebrated love stories in history were not based on first loves and asserts that a new, meaningful love can emerge even after a first love fails.
In addition to directing, Ravi Namburii also wrote the screenplay. The story is crafted by Sai Rajesh, who is also a producer.
The production is led by SKN, under the banners of Mass Movie Makers and Amrutha Productions, with Dheeraj Mogilineni as a co-producer.
On the technical side, the film's music is composed by Mani Sharma, with cinematography by Viswas Daniel. The lyrics are penned by Anantha Sriram, while Bhaskar Mudavat handles art direction, and Santhosh Naidu is responsible for editing. Devi Parchuri designs the costumes, and Lucky Bezawada co-directs.
