Chennai, Oct 7 (NationPress) In a bid to prevent a release day showdown between two films starring actor Pradeep Ranganathan, the team behind director Vignesh Shivan's 'Love Insurance Kompany (LIK)' has officially announced a new release date of December 18 this year.
Initially, the film was set to premiere on September 18, but the date was later shifted to October 17 for the Deepavali festival. However, with Pradeep Ranganathan's film 'Dude' also scheduled for release on the same day, the decision was made to move LIK to December 18.
Seven Screen Studio, the film's presenting company, shared the news via a statement on their social media platforms, stating, "Like two trains on the same track, a head-on collision helps no one. Out of genuine concern for our beloved hero Pradeep Ranganathan and respect for the efforts behind both films, we have thoughtfully decided to reschedule the release of LIK to December 18, 2025."
