Chennai, June 11 (NationPress) The producers of director J.K. Chandru's action-comedy film 'Revolver Rita', starring actress Keerthy Suresh in the main role, announced on Wednesday that the movie will be released globally on August 27, coinciding with the Vinayaka Chathurthi festival this year.
The production company, The Route Official, took to Instagram to share this exciting news.
They posted a video link revealing the release date while stating, "Revolver Rita is all set to fire away on August 27."
Fans and cinema enthusiasts have been buzzing with anticipation ever since the title teaser was unveiled a few months ago.
The teaser depicts thugs snatching Keerthy Suresh's handbag while she shops for vegetables at a pushcart. Upon reaching their hideout, they discover a revolver, a blood-stained butcher's knife, and a bomb inside the bag. Shortly after, Keerthy confronts the thieves, demanding her bag back, including its dangerous contents.
The startled criminals question if she’s a RAW agent, an underworld boss, or a police officer, but Keerthy remains coy with her answers. Just then, she receives a call from Radhika Sarathkumar, who plays her mother, inquiring about the tomatoes she needs for cooking. Keerthy responds, "Keep the stove on simmer; I’m on my way."
