Mumbai, Nov 4 (NationPress) Riaan, the elder son of Genelia D'Souza and Riteish Deshmukh, has embarked on his inaugural flight without the company of his parents.
Feeling emotional witnessing her son's growth and the achievement of a new milestone, Genelia shared a heartfelt video on her Instagram Stories. The clip featured her, Riteish, and their younger son, Raahyl, bidding farewell to Riaan at the airport.
In her post, Genelia expressed her pride in Riaan's first venture into independence, writing, "First flight without us. It was always about firsts with us, slowly getting used to the firsts without us.. Go live little ones, grow, experience life - Aai/ Baba/ Rahyo/ Flash will be waiting at home for you" (green heart emoji) (sic).
Earlier, Riteish had shared glimpses of their Diwali and Padwa festivities with Genelia, Riaan, and Raahyl.
The video depicted Riteish joyfully applying milk, uptan, and oil to his sons as part of their traditional Diwali ceremony.
The children were seen creating vibrant rangolis, and Genelia performed the aarti for her sons in the video. Later, Riaan and Raahyl participated in performing their mother's “aarti,” and then they bowed down to receive blessings from her.
Additionally, Riteish posted a photo of a handwritten letter from his sons, which they shared since he missed the family Diwali lunch due to work obligations.
The touching note read, "Hi baba, I know you are working hard for us. Today is Diwali, but I hope the light reaches you. The Diwali lunch will never be the same without you. Have a great day at shoot" (sic).
Overwhelmed by the sweet gesture, Riteish shared the letter on his Instagram Stories, expressing, "Aur jeene ko kya chahiye!!! Shooting for @rajashivaji is special but receiving a letter from boys makes it everlasting."
