Mumbai, June 4 (NationPress) An arrest warrant has been issued against former 'Bigg Boss' contestant, Rishabh Sinha in Mumbai. The complainant, Vikhram Shankar Saxena, has claimed in his statement that Rishabh Sinha took a substantial amount of money from him and subsequently fled the country.
As the allegations of financial fraud surfaced, Sinha reportedly left the country. IANS has obtained the most recent arrest warrant, confirming that the court has instructed the Mumbai police to proceed with the arrest. Given that the accused is currently abroad, the court has scheduled the next hearing for August 21, 2025.
The claims suggest that Rishabh Sinha allegedly acquired around INR 1 crore and defrauded his friend by refusing to repay the amount. The complainant further asserts that Rishabh is living a “fake lifestyle”.
Rishabh Sinha gained recognition for his portrayal of Ayaan Ahmed Khan in ‘Qubool Hai’, participated in ‘MTV Splitsvilla’ and ‘Bigg Boss 9’. He also played a villainous role in the film ‘Kaanchi: The Unbreakable’.
As a wild card entry in ‘Bigg Boss 9’, he reached the final stages of the season, ultimately finishing as the first runner-up to Prince Narula.
Rishabh also had a dramatic departure from ‘Qubool Hai’, where he was later succeeded by actor Vikrant Massey, known for his role in ‘Balika Vadhu’.
While Vikrant has transitioned into films, with his latest project being ‘The Sabarmati Report’, Rishabh has stayed out of the spotlight but remains active on Instagram, with his last post dated May 22.
Both parties are expected to appear in the Judicial Magistrate Court.
