Mumbai, Dec 15 (NationPress) Actress Riya Sen and her mother Moon Moon Sen were recently seen enjoying the charming ambiance of Dehradun's cozy cafés, where the pace of life appears to slow down and each nook has its own tale to tell.

Riyaa took to Instagram to share two delightful snapshots alongside her mother, both savoring warm soup.

"Dehradun is incredibly enchanting! Its adorable little cafés make you feel as though you've stepped back in time. Strolling through them has become my mom's favorite pastime here," Riyaa expressed in her caption.

Regarding Moon Moon, she has had an illustrious career in Hindi, Bengali, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Gujarati films.

She transitioned into Bollywood and has been featured in 60 films and 40 television series. The 71-year-old seasoned actress served as a Member of Parliament in the 16th Lok Sabha representing the Bankura constituency from 2014 to 2019.

Moon Moon made her first appearance in Andar Baahar in 1984. She also starred in the suspense thriller 100 Days alongside Madhuri Dixit. Her most recent appearance was in the 2019 Bengali film Bhobishyoter Bhoot, where she made a guest appearance.

On the other hand, Riyaa kick-started her acting journey at just five years old, portraying her mother's daughter on screen for the very first time.

In 1991, she debuted as a child actress in the film Vishkanya. Her first major success came with the comedy Style in 2001, directed by N. Chandra. She gained recognition as a model after appearing in Falguni Pathak's music video Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi at the age of seventeen in 1998.

Riyaa was most recently seen in a cameo in the teen romantic comedy film Nadaaniyan, directed by Shauna Gautam, which features Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor, along with Mahima Chaudhry, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj.

The movie revolves around a privileged South Delhi school girl who hires a boyfriend to retaliate against her family and peers.
