Mumbai, June 8 (NationPress) Director Rohan Sippy, celebrated for the positive reception of the latest season of his acclaimed streaming series ‘Criminal Justice’, believes that Easter eggs in audio-visual content should be utilized in a thoughtful manner.
In a recent interview with IANS, he emphasized that Easter eggs should enhance the overarching narrative without diverting the audience's attention from the story.
He stated, “We strive to incorporate these elements, but finding the right equilibrium is crucial. It's best to include them sparingly, perhaps in one or two instances, for maximum impact. Importantly, I believe that even those who haven't followed the earlier seasons should still appreciate this legal drama.”
Additionally, he remarked, “It’s vital that we do not lose focus due to Easter eggs; they are an added bonus. There will be viewers who may not recall these references or haven't seen prior seasons, and their enjoyment of this installment should not be compromised.”
Previously, Sippy praised Bollywood icon Aamir Khan for his groundbreaking contributions to Hindi cinema, expressing admiration for the superstar.
Reports indicate that Aamir is exploring a pay-per-view distribution model for his forthcoming film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ following its theatrical release.
He also noted that this approach isn’t entirely new, as it was previously implemented by the esteemed Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan for his film ‘Vishwaroopam’ through DTH on a pay-per-view basis.
Produced by Applause Entertainment in partnership with BBC Studios India and directed by Rohan Sippy, ‘Criminal Justice’ season 4 is now streaming on JioHotstar.
