Mumbai, Nov 22 (NationPress) Television and Bollywood star Ronit Bose Roy has declared his intent to step away from social media to concentrate on his personal development.

In a heartfelt message posted on his social media, he expressed that this decision has left many of his fans disheartened.

The actor revealed he is on a journey to discover a ‘new’ and improved version of himself, requiring him to abandon his comfort zone and leave behind old, negative habits.

While he acknowledged the fear that comes with such a decision, he emphasized that this break is essential.

Ronit assured his followers that this would only be a temporary hiatus and that he would return in due time, even disabling comments on his Instagram post.

He wrote, “Hello, what I’m about to say will come from a place of love, understanding, and gentleness. You all know I love you. I scroll, like your posts, comment on your posts and reply to as many DMs as I possibly can. I’m immensely grateful for all that I have received. I cherish everything. Especially the love and respect I’ve received from y'all, which I treasure and hold very close to my heart.”

He further expressed, “However, I have reached a point in life where I must carve out a new path for myself and my family. A path that will hopefully lead to a better version of myself as a human being, in relationships, and as an actor. This is a journey I have yet to embark on. Leaving behind comfort and old bad habits is daunting, but necessary!”

Ronit added, “Total digital separation is crucial for my mental and spiritual growth, as well as for discovering the new me (who I hope y’all will love even more). Therefore, for a while (I’m uncertain how long), please forgive my absence from social media.”

He reassured, “It’s impossible to be away from your love; thus, I’ll return as soon as I achieve my personal goals and adopt better habits. Please don’t forget me. Love y’all, and God bless y’all.”

On the professional front, Ronit Bose Roy's recent appearance was in the mythological horror film ‘Maa’, alongside Bollywood star Kajol.

He also featured in the TV series ‘Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan’.

Ronit catapulted to fame playing Mihir in 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' during the mid-2000s and is well-known for his role as Mr. Bajaj in the hit TV show 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', opposite actress Shweta Tiwari.

Point of View

I find Ronit Bose Roy's decision to take a break from social media both commendable and essential for personal growth. In a world where digital engagement often overshadows real-life experiences, his choice reflects a deeper understanding of mental health and self-improvement.
