Los Angeles, May 29 (NationPress) Rose Leslie is aware that her children may someday want to view her and Kit Harington in 'Game of Thrones'. Yet, the actress has disclosed there is one particular scene from the fantasy series she wishes her kids to avoid.
The 38-year-old actress married Kit Harington in June 2018 after their encounter on the set of the fantasy epic. Together, they have two young children.
In an interview with Tatler magazine, she shared: "I don’t think it’s our choice. If they want to see Mum and Dad do their thing – I mean, I’m not referring to the cave scene, I’d prefer to skip that – but the other scenes and moments (laughs)." She added, "You’re right, there is something celebratory about it."
The scene in question features their characters, Ygritte and Jon Snow, becoming intimate for the first time in a secluded cave, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.
Rose admitted that she and Kit usually refrain from watching each other's projects because they are too engrossed in the creative process by that time.
She remarked: "Oh, it’s cringe! You’re like, 'Why did I make that face?' You’d rather just watch something else. We both support each other, but since we’ve collaborated on those lines (prior to filming), it feels like work, and you leave work behind when you’re at home."
However, they recently encountered an old episode of 'Game of Thrones' and decided to reminisce.
Rose reminisced: "There are some replays on Sky and with our daughter’s birth, we were up late, feeding and flipping through the channels, and we ended up watching an episode we were both in.
"I’m speaking to him in a really high voice. We were so young! We find it challenging to watch each other, and we struggle with watching ourselves."
A decade after her three seasons wrapped up, Rose confessed she remains close with Emilia Clarke, whom she describes as "the most wonderful human being," even though she didn’t make it into the 'Game of Thrones' WhatsApp group.
She explained: "I’m not part of it! It’s exclusive to those who made it to the final series, so Kit is included. He keeps in touch with several cast members, but there’s a unique bond among them because they spent nearly 10 years together on the most extraordinary rollercoaster."
“I had an incredible time being part of that journey and watching it evolve into the phenomenon it became.”
