Chennai, Feb 26 (NationPress) Actress Sadaa, who was once a leading figure in both the Tamil and Telugu film sectors before embracing wildlife photography, has articulated her hope that Lord Shiva’s divine energy will motivate individuals to cherish and honor all living beings, regardless of their size, and to coexist harmoniously with nature on the occasion of Maha Shivratri.

In a recent Instagram video where she captured footage of a snake in its natural habitat, Sadaa shared, “Lord Shiva, also known as Pashupatinath, comes from the Sanskrit term ‘Pashu’, meaning animals, and ‘Pati’, signifying the protector. He is indeed the ‘Lord of Animals’! It is said that showing kindness to animals and caring for them is akin to worshipping Lord Shiva.”

She added, “On this auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, may His divine energy inspire us to love and respect all living beings, whether large or small, and to live in harmony with nature! Har Har Mahadev!

Just a day prior, Sadaa shared a video of an elephant delighting in a swim at a lake.

She remarked, “This was a first for me: witnessing a magnificent tusker completely submerged in the water. He was undeniably enjoying himself that evening. It was a blessing to observe the carefree, youthful demeanor of such an enormous creature! Have any of you ever seen elephants take a dip like this?”

Interestingly, Sadaa celebrated her birthday this year in a tiger reserve. “Marking my birthday in a tiger reserve was a new experience for me! The trip was initially organized to see two special tigers, Chota Bheem and Dotty, from Bandhavgarh. Unfortunately, Chota Bheem was moved to Van Vihar after our planning and sadly passed away just two weeks before our safaris. Our first safari on my special day took us to Khitauli, Chota Bheem’s domain, where we reminisced about the moments we shared on my previous visit. We even spotted the scratch marks he left behind.”
