Mumbai, July 12 (NationPress) Actress Sadia Khateeb, who is gearing up for her role in “Silaa”, expressed her excitement about embarking on this new journey and her eagerness to deliver her “bestest” in alignment with the vision of filmmaker Omung Kumar.
Recently, the creators disclosed Sadia’s character poster for “Silaa”, showcasing a raw and intense persona that reflects the complexity and strength of her role.
Regarding the forthcoming film, she stated: “I am immensely grateful and thrilled to embark on this journey. A big thank you to the visionary director Omung sir for believing in me to portray his Silaa. I aspire to contribute my bestest to his vision.”
The actress, who previously starred in The Diplomat alongside John Abraham, aims to exceed expectations with her performance.

Sadia has wrapped up filming a comedy alongside Neetu Kapoor. The 27-year-old actress made her acting debut in Hindi cinema with the 2020 film Shikara, a drama directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
The film tells a love story set against the backdrop of the insurgency in Jammu and Kashmir and the ensuing genocide of Kashmiri Pandits. She also featured in Raksha Bandhan and appeared alongside John Abraham in The Diplomat in 2025.
