What Did Sadia Khateeb Experience While Shooting ‘Silaa’?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Feb 11 (NationPress) Actress Sadia Khateeb has officially completed filming her upcoming movie ‘Silaa’ on Wednesday and shared some of her most cherished memories from the set. In this film, she stars alongside Harshvardhan Rane.
The actress recounted her unique experience of filming inside the Son Doong Cave, where there was no access to phones or electricity.
Reflecting on this, she stated, “I have countless wonderful memories from the shooting days, but I'll begin with our time filming in the cave, where we spent four days without any phones, electricity, or proper beds. We slept in tents. We are proud to be the first filmmakers to shoot a film in that cave. The experience was nothing short of exhilarating.”
She also added, “This cave has its own ecosystem; it literally has its own ground and sky. It isn’t just a flat cave to walk through. We had to climb mountains, and our entire crew trekked about 25 kilometres. It was quite a journey filled with sweat, blood, and tears.”
“We even filmed a song in Gulmarg where I was transformed into a full-fledged Bollywood heroine, an experience I had never encountered before. In Shikara and The Diplomat, I immersed myself in very different, grounded characters. However, in Silaa, I got to embrace the classic heroine persona, and that was incredibly special. I’m genuinely thankful for that opportunity,” she expressed.
‘Silaa’ is set to release later this year. The actress will also appear alongside Kapil Sharma, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
Marketed as an intense action romance filled with layered characters and high-stakes drama, ‘Silaa’ is produced by Zee Studios. It is jointly supported by Omung Kumar, Umesh KR Bansal, Pragati Deshmukh, Himanshu Tiwari, Ajay Singh, Abhishek Ankur, and Captain Rahul Bali, under the banners of Blue Lotus Pictures, Stark Entertainment, and Innovations India. The film has been co-produced by Rahhat Shah Kazmi.
