Mumbai, July 31 (NationPress) Actors Harshvardhan Rane and Sadia Khateeb are set to commence filming the second schedule of “Silaa” in the stunning Sơn Đoòng cave, the largest cave in the world, located in Vietnam.

Harshvardhan shared on Instagram a photo of the grand welcome he and Sadia received, mentioning that they would be venturing into the cave on Friday, where connectivity would be limited for the next four days.

He expressed: “Today marks the beginning of our beautiful filming journey for the second schedule with the talented @sadiaakhateeb for #Silaa, directed by the esteemed national award winner @omungkumar Sir in the world's largest cave in #Vietnam.”

He further noted, “#Silaa is the first film globally to be filmed in the world's largest cave. @oxalisadventure will guide us into the cave tomorrow, and we will have limited connectivity for the next four days.”

Sơn Đoòng cave, recognized as the largest natural cave on the planet, features a swift-flowing underground river and holds the record for the largest cross-section of any cave, believed to be double that of the next largest passage.

The name translates from Vietnamese to “cave of the mountain behind Doòng.”
